Pedro Cavaco Leitão

Arquitecto, criador e construtor de cenografias

Pedro Cavaco Leitão (Porto, 1976) holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto and is a full member of the Ordem dos Arquitectos Portugueses, the Bosch Alumni Network, and the Actors of Urban Change platform. Over the past two decades, he has developed an intense creative practice in the fields of Urban Rehabilitation and Public Art, both individually and through multiple collaborations, spanning a wide range of scales, programmes, and contexts. He is co-founder of the collective Moradavaga, formed in late 2006, through which he has been developing research, experimentation, and interdisciplinary work around kinetic, interactive, participatory, and performative art, with scenography — understood in its broadest sense — as one of its principal vectors, both within the collective's own practice and through cooperation with partners from the performing and scenic arts.
