Anabela Santos was born in Luanda. She studied Interior Design in Lisbon and Florence. In 1994, she completed a scenography internship at RTP and began her professional career collaborating with scenographer António Casimiro in television.

Anabela Santos was born in Luanda. She studied Interior Design in Lisbon and Florence. In 1994, she completed a scenography internship at RTP and began her professional career collaborating with scenographer António Casimiro in television.
In 1997, she started working as a freelancer in scenography and interior design, working for various production companies such as NBP, Endemol, SP Televisão, Freemantle Media, Shine Iberia, Valentim de Carvalho, Coral Europa, and Se my Dreams.
She is known for the scenography and set decoration of television entertainment programmes such as Big Brother, Academia de Estrelas, Operação Triunfo, and Peso Pesado, as well as various fiction programmes including series and telenovelas such as Meu Querido Professor, Batanetes, Morangos com Açúcar, Fúria de Viver, O Jogo, Os Nossos Dias, Poderosas, Alguém Perdeu, Golpe de Sorte, A Generala, Crimes Submersos, and Lisbon Noir.
In 2009, she co-authored and co-produced the first edition of an innovative interior design fair, Lisbon ID, whose mission was to showcase and promote the best of Portugal. This event brought together national and international brands, united designers, architects, and manufacturers, and fostered creative and commercial connections. She also works on interior design projects for private residences.
